Ok this is driving me crazy O7, o7, 07, all indicated the individual is saluting with his left hand if he is facing you.  Now if he is not facing you, ok it could work, but the angle of the saluting arm seems wrong to me unless your British.  I find <o to be much more accurate for the NA, of course all aspects of it could be taken also <0, <O, o>, 0>,and O>. Now there is also the \o/  with all of its off shoots which will not be shown here.  So is there an order issuing the precise method of rendering a salute in WG forums and chats.  If so can we get the message or directive number or link.

Thank you for you attention.

Well. It is easy and fast. We don't mean to say the salute is correct.

I wonder why the captain or the sailors emoticons don't have a salute.

I knew a guy who always saluted with his left hand,... and middle finger.  After he got out of the brig he began to show a lot more attention to detail when he saluted.  This may have been what caused me to post this question.  The emoticon is still saluting with his right hand by the way.
