It's really hard to not get at least a confederate since the range buff. The Ishizuchi is basically a Zao that loaded in a tier 4 game by mistake but out of consideration for everyone else she will only fire a salvo every 25 seconds.

Hmm interesting that you seem to be one of the few players brave enough to use AP on her. Personally I tend to just spam HE all the time since it is more reliable than her rather derpy AP rounds.

I use AP most of the time in her, I found the AP is excellent against Cruisers and Destroyers since I get better chance of full penetration damage vs over pens like other BBs. Also aiming at the upper belt of most BBs does wonder, especially since I love sailing broadside at tier 4. Anything more like a Nicolai or angling I swap HE and AP back and forth

 You should, she was collecting dust for me also till they buffed up her range, since then she has just been plain fun to sail

Oh..  and focus secondaries. 

And if the AP can't kill the Wyoming..   RAMMING SPEED.

Since the Wyoming has less HP than the Zuichinni, if you are 2/3 or better health, you can survive the ram and continue fighting.

I can't help but find this image absolutely hilarious.
