I hope some of you like animes based on space battleships!  Enjoy!  The series first 6 episodes were released on blu-ray and dvd earlier in the year.  The rest will be aired on Japanese Tvs and hopefully will be simulcast on certain anime websites with HD in 2013!

Yeah I just watched it it myself, to the detriment of me being even more anxious for this game.

I'm glad they kept the look and theme music from the original anime, resold as 'Star Blazers' in the U.S. This was actually the first 'cartoon' I ever saw with a continuing storyline, and was my introduction into the world of Japanimation as we termed it in the late '70's. We didn't know then what a tiny tip of the iceberg we had seen.

I am glad I decided to check out the latest Yamato series, did not realize it was a remake of the original. also love that lego yammy.
