I am wondering if they increased the chances of obtaining one. Since the patch I have gotten two and before that I haven't seen one since around January. It is very odd. As to the increased chance at a SC - I went 5 months without a single SC, as I always pick "Signals and Camo" - however, I've had two since the last patch. Both were "special modules" - the one that increases the length of time smoke discharges (but decreases its duration) - sold for 650K credits. The other was the speed boost - which went on the Leningrad and allows it to run around at 44kn for a couple of minutes at a time! I hope they keep coming - as I have a few other ships that would love to have access to one of those special module speed boosters (the Gremy in particular!). I got one off my usual now consumables container and for the 4th bleeding time it's a modern. that'll I'll never use, and last night it wouldn't even let me sell it. These modernization have made SC's worthless. Rather have 3 upgraded DC's, repairs and/or smokes than 625k credits I got nothing to do with till I unlock a new ship. I was toying with Try Your Luck x2 or x3 a day for no gain, then went back to x1. I also remember that when the container system first came out, I had a Super Container drop that gave me a huge stack of Dragon Flags, IIRC at least 250. But indeed - I too remember the big drop of Dragon Flags... and I remember a lot of us were complaining about getting them ;-) I've been wondering if maybe they were gonna loosen the reins up a bit on SCs with the next Ranked literally just around the corner. Maybe? I used my 1000 free xp to complete the grind and outfitting of my new Tier 6 IJN Ryujo heh heh... I'm a happy camper.
