The latest came during a battle with a cruiser and two battleships. I was run into by a destroyer, and penalized for it. If they can't get the penalties straight, Don't do it at all! About a month ago, an idiot on my team decided to kill me, instead of the enemy. I guess because I was in front of him\her\it in the battle. I have no idea. I just know that the idiot decided to kill me, to get me out of the way. The person was supposedly reported for bad\un-sportman-like play. Just stop penalizing the innocent parties. If you can't, stop penalizing anyone. I'll learn to live with it. Besides, if you stop penalizing, then when someone shoots someone either accidentally or on purpose, then the wounded party can exact revenge without penalty. An eye for an eye. Just stop penalizing the innocent.

It sounds like you want to advocate revenge damage on allies that are actively trying to team kill. Unfortunately that just is not the way, TK'ers exist, it is our job to ignore them. Showing them you are getting ticked off by their tactics only goads them on. To be clear, TKing is wrong, revenge is wrong. Just let it go. Fair winds and following seas captain. The collision penalty is what? 3 credits? It's completely irrelevant and not sure how an automated system would know who was responsible for the collision in the first place. When I zoomed in I was close enough that the team tag did not show above the DD. I gave it a full broadside. Immediately I knew what I had done. Got called all kinds of names in chat and felt lower than whale crap. I had to wear the "scarlet letter" - was pinked for several games. I apologized to the DD driver. But that did not fix the wrong. That penalty was bad enough. I felt like crap. ON RAMMING incidents: WG should give us the spacebar to sound the horn before a ramming. It is worthless in it's current configuration by sounding after the collision. I've had countless players ram me accidentally while using their binocular view. If we could give them a blast of the ship's horn before the ramming to draw their attention back to the situation maybe there would be many fewer ramming incidents. It's basically a situational awareness issue.

Now granted, some of the less mature players will go around hitting that thing repeatedly. Just make it sound fully within a close distance (350 meters .. just over the length of the Missouri?) and fade off sharply outside of that zone.
