Guide needed on how to Caga

What the world needs is some sort of instructions in how to do it properly.  I mean aside from general guidelines, of course.  I get it that you want to make sure and be in the right place because you don't want to be seen, and the importance of correct drops is also obvious but the question is how exactly.  And is there anything useful you can do while waiting for bombs to reload.  Also from CV players - what do you do with one squadron while another you are paying closer attention to?  Hover it somewhere?

Overall there are good videos to watch on generic ships but this is not generic  o:

Kaga. Pay attention to the 1000 mentions and previous posts. Caga is something else entirely

You won't like this but drop down and work on getting better with the lower tier CV's and work your way up to the Kaga's tier.

That doesn't bother me I normally do that with my ships but the problem is as follows: They have much smaller and easier to manage loadouts that I feel like the learning curve is limited by tier V, plus you can no longer strafe so  /:

Review CV play guides but you are really asking to fail if you start off with Kaga.  I love her; but unless you know which ships to avoid at that tier and which to attack, and are comfortable with straffing you are doing your teammates a disservice by using her to learn.

You have similar CV stats to me and I struggle beyond tier 5, heck I don't burn up the charts in 4 & 5, with them which is why I suggested that and why I have no premium CV's. The load outs get larger as you level up which would give you a better handle on the large number of squads the high tier, not just the Kaga, have.

I don't know why you have to be rude like this.  If you don't think I'm ready to Caga then all you have to do is say so.  I'm a big boy I can take the criticism.

Apparently not since you continue to spell the ship's name incorrectly. But at this point it's clearly on purpose and I have no desire to help you as a result.

There's no point trying to help a troll.

Ooooh, salty salty.

But on a serious note, there are some good videos on YouTube that show you how to Kaga

I look for them bruv.  Being serious if I wasn't sincere about learning how to CV I wouldn't be asking.  My goal is as follows:  Grind every single line in the game, at least until tier VIII.  You may criticize me for buying a Missouri because I have no proper 9s but consider this:  I could easily go through to tier IX on one line but I am doing it for silver earnings (and because I missed Alabama <sadface>) so you will forgive me for that.  The thing is I really wanted to get Kaga while I could and - dumb reason or not - I like the flag that came with it, so I bought it.

Honestly people overstate how vital it is to learn how to manual drop/strafe.  While it's important, it's also really easy to get the hang of it.  The real thing to be learning in CVs is WHO to drop on and WHEN.  And that's something to be learned by experience, which is going to be much easier at tier 5 rather than tier 7.  I say tier 5 instead of tier 4 because the tier 4 CVs don't really run into anyone with defensive fire ability or particularly powerful AA.  Tier 5 CVs encounter tier 6 CAs with defensive fire and certain AA-heavy ships like Cleveland, not to mention tier 6 CVs that can strafe.
