Love the new forum look

TY WG, this new forum look is awesome. I do most of my browsing on my galaxy s7 and now there is a dedicated mobile page for the forums and it's awesome. TY

Really? I feel the opposite. Also, I had at least 750 posts before this and now over 100 are missing.

I can only see the most recent 2 on my profile page. I've yet to figure out how to find the rest.

WG apparently is upholding what's become standard in online games these days; "Fixes" just [edited] everything up more.

It's complete garbage. I can't even upload avatars anymore. Like most changes of this nature, this was a complete step backwards and totally unnecessary. I'm glad to see that our development dollars are being squandered on such crucial upgrades.

Grey on grey text is never good. Though, typically, the younger your eyes, the less it affects you.

I will get used to it but I dislike it - I hate that there is no definition between the topics so glancing at them is more difficult.  Don't use it on mobile so I don't care about that side.  Seems to be the same type of theme that Outlook 2016 uses and I really hate that.... for basically the same reason.

Make sure you are using the chrome browser.

 

Plus I can now browse the forums without requesting desktop site so I use less data.

I will say that at least the back button now tasks you back to the correct page.  If I was on page 3 and read a topic and hit the back button on the mouse - it would always go back to the 1st page.

This new forum layout completely sucks. Lately, many of these "updates" have only screwed over things that used to be perfectly fine before.

I don't see the issue tbh. The forums have been the same for over 5 years now, used the same layout as WoT for the longest time, and finally got a refresh. I will say though it's interesting how a thread with now 19 posts is already considered a hot topic.

About the only way they could possibly piss away more screen real estate is to display the text vertically.

It appears as if they have gone for a similar look to the war thunder forums. This is actually becoming a standard look for a lot of forums.
