Glorious Lolanta

This is my dedication page to the king of DPM, the bane of all DDs and CVs, the glorious Atlanta. This ship is at least half of all the fun I have in the game. Deleting enemy light cruisers with its AP or simply putting DDs to sleep...the ridiculous DPM of this vs unarmored ones is just beautiful. 

OH and let's not leave out burning down FDGs because of that massive superstructure. It really is satisfying when you take down a battleship in the Atlanta.

And who doesn't love borrowing smokes to become a Poor Man's Flint?

People are always saying the ship is crap or needs a buff but boy it sure doesn't feel that way to me. 

Alright I'm gonna go back to spreading freedom across the server.

Half of all my fun and Half of all my detonations, my first premium and still the ship I have played the most. I even put my 19 Seagal captain in her (He is spec'd for the Montana). The guns turn so fast and you can change shell types in 2.5 seconds. I know that most of his skills are wasted on the Atlanta but it was fun to see.

While its advisable to stay in cover and fight from behind low islands in an Atlanta. 

I've found that having two Belfast in a div together on your team to be a boat load of fun. 

You just stick you gun boat in their smoke and help them hose down the area. 

Its so broken and so much fun.

I have to add that probably some of the most fun you can have in a Lolanta is deleting wave after wave of planes. Now if I could just get that elusive Clear Skies............

For the longest time, this was my Ship XP star and great for those situations where you need high hits or ribbons.  I'm still learning to be more consistent in her.

 

My Fiji has just passed my Atlanta in average XP.  Since the Fiji is also more durable, I am more consistent in hits and damage.  I am quite curious to see where the Belfast fits with these ships, but I need to wait awhile before I get another Premium.

Dude absolutely. I can count on one hand the # of cv battles I've had in the Atlanta in the last 3 months. But I'll grant that it's probably pretty cancer to enemy CVs.

Doing this makes it a Flint and incredibly OP as a result. I don't want to play an OP ship.

Yeah Fiji is a pretty strong ship. Fiji+Lolanta is actually a pretty good div setup specially if you can throw a Sims in there; you get hydro, def fire x2, radar, and endless smoke as a result.
