Fight Song...Amazing Grace

Amazing musical...and video.

 

For those with a good ear, there is a cool part where Cello is playing Amazing Grace melody and Piano is playing Fight Song melody, at the same time.  If you listen to Cello (Amazing Grace), the Piano (Fight Song) sounds like harmony.  If you listen to Piano, the Cello sounds like harmony.   If you're good at listening, you can hear it all at the same time.  And then the bag pipes kick.  This is great on so many levels.  A real treat if you haven't heard it...and really listened to it.  Good sound equipment is important.

Simply stunning. I have heard some of the work by PianoGuys before (a lot of their Coldplay covers are gorgeous) but this is exceptional! I love the melancholy sound of the cello and the harmony of Amazing Grace in the middle was paired so beautifully with such a modern song. Thank you so much for sharing! I shall be spending the next few hours going back and listening to their music again!
