Been thinking of selling my taiho, I just don't think I'll get much use out of the hak, never really see T10 CVs myself and what's the use of a ship if you can't use her?

Just thought I'd ask how many of you are out there.

There arent many because the US CV is all screwed up.....it's recent WR is 48% compared to the IJN CV 54%.  So there is no reason to play US CVs....that takes alot of fun out of it.   This is even more of a travesty considering the Midway was one of the most combat proven carriers in history, and the IJN carrier is pure paper....

240 Hakuryu

297 Midway

Out of curiosity... is there a way to get these numbers from Warships Today? I know how to get them from the other stat sites, just not sure how to see it on WT...

Warships Today is acting funky right now, but last I saw, you are 16x more likely to see 1 Yamato than you will see Midway, who is played more than Hakuryu.  Tier X CVs are for most parts, extinct.  People talk about them like ghost stories around a campfire, but that's all they are.  Stories.  Because they're pretty much dead at Tier X.

afaik they don't show beyond the first ~50 on the leaderboards for individual ships. I don't even think the leaderboards work right now anyhow. Today has been having a lot of functionality issues this year it seems like.

next question is... how many out of those are played regularly?

i mean, i have an essex, but i haven't taken her out of port (except for one or two coop matches) in over a year.

i wonder how many of those 537 (which is an abysmally low number to start with) actually play those t10 cv's on a regular basis?

... except the Midway barely made it into WW2 ... it's real combat history was post - WW2.

I finally got my Taiho, I intend to play the s$%t out of it and I have a long list of people who hate carriers that I intend to hunt :)
