Extending the rocket bubble to ~2.2km

Yeah, I've decided to swap out the second slot on the Hood for AA.  Is it situational?  Yes.  But I figure 7% less of crap dispersion is still crap dispersion, but an extra 20% of the aircraft death bubble (albeit situational) seems to make a pretty big difference as it extends the rockets to almost 2.2 km, not to mention extending the 4in mounts to over 7km; not a lot of DPS at that range, but the scare factor is in play.

With a tanky ship like Hood you can live a long time in the match and usually take a lot of HE spam and when that occurs this is what happens when bombers come at you late game . . .

I run AFT on her just because. And her AA is goddamn insane with just that, and her turrets are poorly armored, so I keep MBM1 on.

That extra 20% makes for a big difference when running into CVs.  One of the cool things the Hood is useful at is holding/delaying a flank against superior numbers.  It has the speed to get there, armor and HP to tank, the speed to kite, and good gun angles to exact a price on pursuers.  One of the downsides to this strategy is enemy CVs.  As the delay front is sparse in ships, a CV captain will often go there to hunt ships, and will often go for the juicy target (aka the BB).  As the Hood's AA is of marginal help for the fleet, it is designed to be a BIG help for itself.  Hence, now I get to delay/hold/kite in my BB without worrying about getting singled out by the enemy CV.  Or, if I do get singled out, exacting a very high price for the effort.
