Kutuzov: British Cruiser but with Russian Bias

She's is nothing like a British cruiser, really just a slightly different Chapayev with Russian bias smoke.

From what I remember Edinburgh was deemed too frustrating and OP when she had smoke and HE with inferior arcs, shell damage, and lower fire chance at 9% vs 12% compared to Kutuzov.

I mean I can see why they added Kutuzov, she was the first cruiser to get smoke, she was the test platform. She is horrendously, stupidly overpowered though, and should not have been put up for sale again, let alone added to the tech tree. Especially since the devs made the crackpot decision to exempt her from the great BFT/AFT nerf.

At the time, she was deemed weak, STers joked about her being "mikhail citadelovich".  Now, people now how to use her properly.

Well, Kutuzov came out in Jan 2017, British cruisers came into ST in August 2017 and after 2 months were released in October.

 

They didn't realize on the basis of Kutuzov that a smoke cruiser was OP for apparently another 6 months or so, by which time they were then having a fiasco with a whole line. Not good planning or responsiveness.
