The Modules on my Khabarovsk are breaking with every hit since update. Is this a new and exciting mechanic?

No? If you have problems with this, take Preventative Maintenance.

They were breaking just as much before this patch as well.

I am certain that you haven't played the ship in mind enough. This thing loses modules very easy.

I have preventative maintenance. The modules never broke this bad before the the update. Reminds me of the Gnevny from 2 years ago

Even with PM, I lose something with nearly every single salvo that hits my Khab.

It has been that way since I started playing the ship...

Same, I see no change. Even shells that land in the water knock my engine quite often. Haven't had a turret or torp tubes destroyed in other DD in months while losing many of them in kebab.

Why is this a problem? DDs are supposed to be fragile. Take preventative maintenance or get Main Arm Mod 1...

I was just saying in another thread that in the last two days I've had a front turret on my Alabama and my Baltimore get nuked.  On Alabama I run AAM1 and PM.  I can live with the inherent risks of that setup for that ship.  On Baltimore I was/am using MAM1.  I added PM skill to that ship's CO after that occurrence last night, since I already had one unused CO skill point anyway.
