Am I the only one who loves when other players get salty in chat? Granted, I have seen much saltier than this, but it still doesn't happen to me very often.

The salty parts begin around 6m50s, if you don't want to watch the complete replay.

Salt is required to make bacon.  Therefore, by deductive reasoning, salt is good and a basic necessity of life.

You had me at bacon.

I love it. The best is replying to them being mad at you for sinking them with a thank you. They hate that.

another tater.  lol.   you need CE.    otherwise, it is just typical performance from kami.    it is more fun to have 200k+ dmg from udaloi (khab is just op  by comparison)  where they can still see you and can't do jack as you burn them down to waterline.  :D

I didn't have CE back then, but I do now.

The replay itself wasn't special, but I thought it would be fun because of the salt.

A man is wise in the ways of bacon.

Had a CV captain on team yesterday who was so upset that a cruiser "stole" what he'd determined should have been "his kill" that he proceeded to call the poor cruiser captain everything but a child of god, then returned to port.

Just a little bit ridiculous...

Some people take games too seriously. Getting kills is good, but winning is better.

THIS.

WIN, by the most efficient means available. Sometimes that means killing everyone, sometimes that means capping the base, sometimes that means firing ultimately wasted shots at a low-health target just to ensure another set of guns is removed from the field.

The first BB to die will almost always BLAME every dd near them for THEIR death! The first DD the runs into the cap FIRST and dies will live on in chat and blame the BB for not "supporting"them!

And heaven forbid a unicom die early, as they will ride along and tell everyone what they are doing wrong!

(HINT: it's a game. A video GAME! )

Not only that, but if you don't kill it, obviously the kill wasn't yours....

Don't mind that, because if you can get past any salt, they're telling you something useful. It's the ones who don't have a clue that bother me.

As far as it being a game, I play games to win, (unless it's snakes and ladders with my 3 yr old) and if somebody has some valid advice that I can take advantage of, I'll take it.

Not even. As Al Davis said, "Just win, baby".

I think the ones who get super salty have awful lives. That's why they invest so deeply in and care so much about their performance in WoWs - because they don't have anything else in life. That's why they take it so seriously that it feels like life and death to them. They're completely invested in it. They have nothing else to invest in. Their lives are like a barren desert, with a cactus here or there, or maybe a scorpion under a rock waiting to stab a lizard. You know? That's how I feel.

That, plus all the negative emotion has to come from somewhere, right? I can't imagine all of that negative emotion coming from someone else making a mistake in a game. I've never experienced something like that. I think it comes from their awful lives. Yep.

It goes without saying that this isn't always the case, but I think it's the case a lot of the time.

How old is that replay? The ship death icons on the minimap were gray, not to mention your detection exceeding your gun range after firing instead of being equal. Was that from like 10 patches ago?

Very disappointed, salt level was like 2-3 lines, meh

Sorry about that. Next time I'll try to piss people off more.

RU DDs like Udaloi and Tashkent harvest salt like a miner who is offered a raise

It is a couple of patches old. Real life often prevents me from uploading right away, so they sometimes sit on hy HD for some time.
