Holy crap, so the "B" hull isn't 3x3 15"... it's 4x2+2x1 15"!

 

So I guess if people felt it was really important to keep that 4-2-4 gun layout, they should be happy.

I'm a bit bemused by this. My understanding was the quad turret was crowded without proper subsectioninf to limit battle damage. Now it is going to have 15" guns with tighter gun axes than French or Italian battleships? Or one hell of a superwide turret.

You are aware that you can still use the 14 inch guns right? They are the stock gun upgrade.

I doubt we will see a Tier 7 premium KGV, Rodney is the likely Tier 7 premium and since we see the model in the screenshots with a turret catapult (Something Nelson never carried), I'd say she's the Tier 7 premium alongside Hood.

KGV definitely should be tier 8 given her AA and armor. Nelson is waaaay too slow to play at the top tiers.

Her 14inch guns are already on the stock hull. Why would they sell a premium with a setup that's already on the tree ship?

The Scharn/Gnies situation also has it so each ship only has 1 MB config. If they put a premium KGV with just the 14inchers then both the premium and tree ship would have that choice. People wouldn't buy it. If they wanted to play a 14incher they'd just play the stock hull.

KGV is tier VIII which matches the order Tuccy posted the ships over at EU. As the tech tree ship Nelson is an amalgamation of NelRod and theorized updates WG may add for balance. Leaving Rodney to be a relatively accurate* snapshot from sometime in her career.
