What's the tier for HMS Nelson?

I'm thinking it will be a tier 7 premium. It's waaaaay too slow to be tier 8, and too strong for tier 6.

Yeah, but they really had to nerf the Nagato specs to fit Mutsu into tier 6. The apparent nerf for Nelson to be fitted into tier 6 would be pretty drastic.

Not really a nerf, just used the old 'A' hull which everyone freeXP'd past anyway.  Nelsol and Rodnol made some serious concessions in the name of treaty compliance - I think they could fit at Tier VI and would need to be buffed a bit to really compete at Tier VII.

I don't see it happening. Most of the BBs at tier 6 would have difficulty penning Nelson at all. She was quite stout.

Tier VII. The KGV is up for debate. A founding member of the Big Seven is not, IMHO.

T7 prem is my bet. It would be OP at T6 and awful at T8, unless they boosted it a la Bayern so it could magically do 27kts.

Arizona has no problem penning Bismarck, Tirpitz, Gneisenau.  She'd pen Nelson, too.  Sure, you've gotta know when to switch to HE, when to shoot at superstructure.  There's angles where you'd be wasting shots, and knowing those conditions is part of the game.

From what I understand, she's most likely to be the tier VII line ship. However, until we learn more, no one can be sure.
