I had the second best battle of my entire life earlier tonight:

My, um, first best battle (?) was with Gneisenau too. I did 176k in that one:

I feel so strong, but I know I'm not. My play can be excellent though. I torpedoed a New Mexico that was in reverse three times. That felt nice.

Have you ever heard of KanColle?

yes, something about ship girls vs sentient robots that are the sum of mans dark side which is no way a overuse of the pure hero vs representation of evil emotion trope that is common in animes these days

Well, "trope" is a lame word for "attractive idea" (sometimes). No need to degrade the idea.

We like anime, and if you like anime you probably like Japan (or vice versa). What's the most important historical era in modern Japanese history? The Showa era, during WW2 specifically. So naturally it's the subject of several anime and games, and KanColle happens to be the most popular Japanese flash game in the world. So naturally those interested in anime, and WW2 era ships (even if it's because of an anime/game) would flock to a MMO about said ships, with a somewhat real historical representation of them.

wasn't degrading the idea itself, if done right it can make for really good stories, just i notice that certain concept has been use a lot recently
