Some of this is suggestions, which it wont let me post in that forum, ship ideas, same thing, a bit about myself, and many many questions.

First off Im a huge weapons buff,  in time spent researching bottom to top  it would go planes, tanks, guns, and at number one  spanning from early one mast lug sail rowing ships to the most modern vessels in the navy like the lockheed littorial combat ship, Ive seen some videos that outside of the government and lockheed martin almost no one has seen and i can tell you what if we, the usa go to war with iran this ship will do work to irans navy like you wouldnt believe. Anyway my favorite periods for ships is the late 14th to 17th century sailing ships and late 18th through mid 20th century battleships. Now i have played quite a few naval games and im excited for this to come out so now for the questions and suggestions!

First and formost unlike navyfield and the battlestation games (even though navyfield has predreadnaughts, armored and protected cruisers and such now) the ships should be from the 1880s forward to the 1950s AND the other thing all these games are missing is adding Non primary nation warships to the game yes britian, the usa, russia, france, germany, italy, japan saw almost all the action but adding in lines(to tier 5) of  mixed ships from non primary nations. I believe these two things alone would make it THE best naval game out there. One major question i have for the devs is, How many ships aprox. will be available at release, and whats your monthy goal for realeasing ships? this kinda goes along with my suggestions because if the game ends up having ships luanched from the 1880s after and all nations after weeding through the bad ones the game could be filled with around 500 ship types. Why go through the effort? because it would draw every ship buff out to play! In navyfield you could remodel your ship in extention of trees But that is a crappy system unlike the world of tanks style system of tech tree and remodel. How Ever wows unlike wot  should allow for a much more switchable weapons system by this i mean almost every ship should have aaaaa lot of armament options and im talking  just for the Fletcher class like 4 different 3in guns  and between single and dual mounts like 6 ad then 4 different 4in guns again 5 or 6 with dual mounts 8 5in and some 6in and stuff and some triple mounts.Another question is will there be gunboats, torpedo boats, pt boats, cutters, frigates, escorts and such? finally im just gonna through out some ships basically that would go in some of those non primary lines i was telling you about, do to a lack of time  and it not actually being on the research im just posting ship type, nation, full displacement, main armament, and top speed

Costal Defense ship Soerabaia-Netherlands- 6510 tons, 2 single 280mm,, 4 single 150mm, 16.5 knots

Costal Defense ship Ilmarinen-Finland- 3900 tons, 2 dual 254mm, 4 dual 105mm, 16 knots

Costal Defense ship Sverige- Sweden- 8000 tons, 2 dual 283mm, 6 single 6in, 23 knots

The devs have already confirmed that there will be a multinational tree ingame, but it'll most likely be added after the "big" nations have been added. So it might take a while before we see them.

mmm thanks for the input and did anyone check out those costal defense ships they would make for good tier 3-6 ships  the soerabaia would be a tier 3 with only two main guns it would be an ambush ship and its small size would lure cruisers right into a very deadly situation the sverige on the other hand would be a tier 6  its got 8" of belt armor the baltimore heavy cruiser only has 6" and the battle cruiser kongo has 8". as for sveriges 283mm(11.1") guns it takes 15-20 seconds to reload had a range of 29000 meters knogos 14" guns take more like 30-40 seconds to reload and has a range of about 30,000meters

OK, starting my 10-posts marathon :E .


Wicher /  Burza were French Bourrasque class, so it's only details, just copy/paste from developers point of view, but adds nothing unique to gameplay (apart from having other nation's ships).

Grom class - you are sadly mistaken about displacement. But these ships were unique class and quite hi-tech and British based some later classes on their experiences with  construction - as they were build in British shipyards.
They also underwent several modifications during WW2 - and the range of these modifications make them interesting too, from gameplay's point of view.

This also reminds me :) that, although devs stated in Q&A that rough seas are not a factor when it comes to accuracy, some ships handled better and others not - and it would be good to implement it in some way (and one of modifications of this class was due to poor high seas handling).
