accused of "hack" that prevent damage :D

was in my sims, and guy in Hood kept shooting at me from 10km+ and straddling most of his shot..  I posted that that he needed the 2 DD kill for the mission.     After he died, He accused me of running a "hack" that prevented me from getting dmg  .   I didn't know such hack existed.    anyway, this is my first Hackusation with screen capture  for me

There are lots of losers that claim cheating and hacking. There is a certain forum regular that goes off about WG cheating, player hacking,  and other such crying every time I see them in a match lol

I went 12 missions straight, trying to kill destroyers without getting one.  In one game I had 6 primary HE and 9 secondary hits...  scratched the paint.

..

Then finally, RNG said I suffered enough.  Killed two DDs in one mission, within seconds of each other.

Charged a smoke cloud and emptied my barrels into one, while the secondaries finished off the other poor-health one.

...

But before that..  I was one seriously unhappy camper.  Especially since I was accustomed to a couple kills a mission.

I'd charge a smoke cloud and my guns wouldn't fire, rudder would jam, and I'd eat a wall of torps before I could fire a shot.

...

Yeah, that Hood task is a tough one. I had it up but ended of opening the final for that mission without completing the Hood task.

Was accused of something similar, it was an Arizona kraken game, after using all my heals and having less than 1k left I spotted an enemy Leander broadside with near full hp and pointed my bow directly towards him headed his way. He probably fired 15 salvos at me (maybe more) only bringing me down to around 700 hp left or so. I had hit him a couple times in smoke, but as soon as he was spotted again 2 citadels finished him off.... He then went off in chat about how it was [edited]that he couldn't dmg me,  hax broken game etc. etc.. in reality it was probably dmg saturation as I had taken so much dmg that game, he was blowing salt like a snow blower though.

I'm the only one with 3 kills... I killed that salty red guy too... Charged his smoke... He didn't know what to do when I gave him 6 shells in his side and exploded. Notice the Devastating Strike? That's when he raged.

It is sad but I had one match the other day where we took it to the enemy, they played well but we played better, and at least in all chat there was no ranting from the red team, just compliments. I wish that would happen more often, it is a game not life & death.

If the match is close, IMO, people are less salty.  But when it's a lopsided match, well, it can get real ugly.

If you want to get that 2 DD kill mission done, you need to close in the distance. The Hood's main guns not only has dispersion to deal with, but the AP rounds also will lose penetration beyond 10km. So even if you get a hit or two, the damage done will be minor when the armor protection value of the hit is calculated along with the lack of penetration.

 

Since a destroyer can WASD hack easily, sniping from afar in the Hood or any battleship is pointless. That guy is just clueless on how to play the Hood and only has himself to blame.

Forget the details, but did a nasty blow to one enemy player and he cried I had aimbot.
