Every so often, I see people asking this very question and others eager to show off their builds. So I thought it would be cool to see what you guys all play on. Feel free to post specs and even pictures of your setup if you would like. I'm pretty sure some of you have some interesting setups.

Here's mine:

Don't mind the cables in front. I was just down installing a new USB card.

Now accepting donations to fund an upgrade. I don't remember the stats, nor do I have the motivation to look up my parts list, but I do remember that I have an ASUS STRIX GTX 960 and that's only cause I have the whole side panel off for airflow. I've had this brick for 9 years. That 960 is the most modern part on the whole PC

I simply play on a laptop, but it's fairly powerful for one though.

Intel(Skylake) i7-6500U @ 3.1GHz(turbo boost)

Nvidia geforce GTX960M w/ 4GB of VRAM

8Gb of DDR4 RAM

512Gb SSD

1920x1080 resolution display

ASUS brand

Seeing all these builds makes my PC seem a little bad (It is). But for Wows you really don't need 60 fps to play well, 20 is fine. Graphics are nice though.

My rig, aka: just good enough to play with everything maxed out at 1080p/60fps.

iSSkrA8h.jpg

L1AQb20h.jpg

  • i3 4130 with the stock cooler
  • 8GB DDR3
  • Gigabyte GA-H81M-H
  • EVGA GTX 750 Ti SC 2GB
  • 512GB Samsung 850 SSD
  • Some cheapo Coolermaster PSU

Case is actually a scratchbuilt I made for a college class. Finally getting some mileage out of it after never using it forever.

EDIT:

Keyboard: Corsair K70 with cherry blue switches (though I want to change to a spacesaver, maybe K65, but it only comes with reds)

Mouse: some crappy Dell mouse, but works good enough

Display: Samsung SyncMaster B2230HD (pretty old now, but works great and has tons of inputs)

Tried to upload a pic of the case, but can't seem to use imgur anymore as it fails to save the url.

Mid-2011 27 inch Mac desktop.

Intel i5 core, Radeon 6970M graphics processor.

I use an old Mac keyboard (the good, chunky one, not those thin, wimpy ones that they sell now) and a crappy Logitech mouse. Ta-daaaa!

Asus K55V laptop with an I7, 6gb ram, 750 hard drive (whatever is left of it rather) with a Nvidia 610m with 2gb as well as a integrated intel graphics and windows 7.

So uh.... yeah, much like Chobittsu said - any you guys/gals with money wanna help me upgrade by all means, after about 5-6 years it's starting to fall too far behind to play games.

i7 2600k  (3.40 Ghz, 4 core with hyper threading)
8 gigs RAM (I know, I'll upgrade one of these days)
250G Samsung SSD

1TB WD Black
GTX 1050Ti

Win 10 Pro

Logitech G10+ mechanical backlit keyboard
Logitech G303 mouse

Asus 24" HD monitor

This is almost old-school now. It's one of the early i7 CPUs. I splurged on it, since upgrading a CPU is... might as well build a new computer. RAM, hard drives, and GPUs are easy to change.

Thinking about it, this box is at least 5 years old, maybe 6. I just upgraded to a 10 series GPU.
