Breaking(old) News: Scharnhorst doesn't have an option for her historical Channel Dash camo

Someone make this a thing in World of Warships. Please! I just have always loved the look of the Channel Dash camo and those attractive blue turrets.

 

Bismarck now has an option for a camo with painted (aerial recognition aid) turrets, so why shouldn't Scharnhorst?

 

 

Heck, even what they did with Bismarck and Hood's camos would be nice.(to have one clean camo as they were before they were sunk, and one after they were sunk)

 

I guess what I'm saying is, Scharnhorst needs more permanent camos!

Scharnhorst has potential for a damaged camouflage given how she was sunk. Not as brutal as it was with Bismarck but I can see WG already thinking about it. Maybe in the distant future, until then you could ask the skin-makers if they could help you out.

Scharnhorst took a pretty severe beating in her last battle.  In particular, shells wrecked her Anton turret and almost all of her secondary armament.  But most of the severe damage would be perforation of the hull by torpedoes - I don't think WG included that on Bismarck's damaged camo, mind you.  Speaking of which, that camo isn't anywhere approaching how she looked after the British pulverized her for three hours; she was way worse off.  Granted, I don't really care, since any further modeling of that would actually involve altering the model of the upperworks: specifically, by chopping it down basically to the main deck since shellfire ruined it to that point.  That would drop her concealment substantially, I suppose, but it would also leave nearly the entire secondary battery utterly trashed.

How utterly ridiculous...a camouflage pattern which resembles the appearance of weathering at (approx) 9,000 feet and after x number of years!!

This game become more ludicrous by the day, yet I still play it.

The default pattern is incorrect: she carried a different livery on each side.

I know, I realise I messed up at the time when I put the Perth skin up. Don't worry, I will be revisiting and reworking it soon. I just need to wait out the rest of this month and get all of my uni coursework done and submitted

Oh, no worries, mate - I still have the default as I didn't realise there was a mod skin!

Whenever you get around to it will be fine.
