This might be a stupid question but I was away and didn't have a chance to redeem my coins. I no longer see a way to do so. Did I miss the boat?

Yes, it just ended on the redemption. It was mentioned well ahead of time on when the deadline was for redeeming. But if you can convince them otherwise from your specific situation, it wouldn't hurt to try i guess. Bummer to hear that and good luck.
