Worst game ever.

I need moral support fellow internet ship captains.

 

I just had the worst match in all my time in world of warships. 

Ocean map, I was in a Tirpitz, majority of the enemy team in tier 10, and the enemy team got more destroyers at  the start.

They get 2 objectives we get none. The rest of the time was spent looking at the noses of enemy Yamatoes at max range with some smoked up enemy tier 10 dds/british cruisers between us.

 

Why am I here? Should I go clean the bathroom instead, could be more fun? Is it ok to just go to port now, just this once, not like there is anything at all I can do. These were the thoughts going through my head. 

 

I am now sitting in port and I don't want to click battle. That was 15 minutes of the -worst- game experience I have had in any wargaming game in the last 5 years. No, make that ANY online game.

You'll always have matches where your team doesn't want to do anything. I suggest going with a friend in a div to spice things up a bit (or two) and play a game. If you wanna talk to each other in div, do so, as it's much more fun.

There was nothing to do. I can't attack yamatos in open water and I cant snipe them. There was nothing to do, at all. for 15 minutes. From the start of the game I was not allowed to play. Who came up with them map? why does a tier 8 fight 7 tier 10s on that map?

Yes. I am at about 80 battles on the Tirpiz now, 57% win rate. Thank you for asking.

 

 

P.S. what does this have to do with Ocean map vs Yamato guns?

I'm not sure what I did to you for you to  be so angry and swear at me, but the advice isn't bad. If it happens again I will probably YOLO and go to port.

After being seemingly stalked for five games in a row, each over different tier matches by an F-key spammer one dreadful Saturday about four months ago all non F-key spam matches are excluded from contention of winning the 'Worst Game Ever' trophy... no fun winning when two reds suicide TK the same spammer who had to be suicide TK'ed on your team last match.

 The advice was a bit harsh, but mostly factual. You stay as concealed as possible, head for an area where your DDs might lay smoke, and then let your guns blaze until you die. If you are lucky, you see a cruiser to punish and you get some XP.   Any shots fired at you aren't getting fired at your team mates.  Thats 1 more volley that they can fire at the enemy in the game where it won't be answered.  In that way, you will be contributing.  

 

It is rough being a tier 8 in a tier 10 match.  I had had a rough one today where there were 9 BBs in the game on each team, most of which were tier 10s, and a couple tier 9s.  I was the only CA on our team and we had 2 DDs.  I was driving a base model Baltimore.  It wan't tier 8, but I could argue that your tier 8 BB is tougher than a tier 9 Baltimore.  Guess how long I lasted in that game?  I was back in port as soon I was spotted.

worst eh? I took my Kamikaze out after months of avoid her only to CTD and come back dead    somehow I still got some xp/credits.

Why ow why is it that when we block them we can still see the f-key messages? I am with you, that stuff is annoying.

I don't mind it on any other map. But in open water it can become silly.

Your obviously suffering from PTSGD.. short for

post traumatic stress game disorder , happens to all of us now and then so your not alone , cleaning the washroom may help but if you clean it 2 or 3 times in a row .. seek professional help,so from someone whos been there .... suck it up Sailor and move on
