Don't want to dip into my reserve of free XP so I need to grind enough to go straight for engine, fire control and C hull improvements plus the usual upgrades at T9 before I even roll Iowa out for a test drive. I grind the hard way! Played one game this morning in NC (a win) and saw a lot of camping in the backfield! This could get interesting....especially since I am not a big fan of DKM BBs... I see a Hood at 10 km so I pop torpedo's to force him to turn out and give my BB a better shot and continue on hunting their DD. So what does Hood do? Sails in a straight line, eats my torpedo's then rants that we intentionally focused fired on him because he was in the Hood. On this occasion LWN was testing it out. Towards the end of the scenario I found her and hunted her down with my Sharnhorst.
