ok, I'm probably posting in the wrong place, so apologies

beforehand. But one of the last two operating Liberty Ships

needs some help. I know, the Battlehship and other fighting

ship floating museums get the attention. But, these ships were

just as critical to victory.

Again, apologies to moderators and forums goers alike

A good cause that preserves a valuable piece of history. More then happy to donate.

That does seem a bit messed up.  We need help, but only if you're generous enough.

In fairness... there are usually fees associated with transactions.  Even donations.  If you go to the ship in-person, you can drop as little or as much as you want.  Not an option for everyone, I know.

Personally, I'm killing two birds with one stone. I'm going to a blood plasma center, and then donating the money from that to the O'Brien.

I'd say that if you can't swing the ten bucks, but have the inclination to help preserve history, look for another museum ship that may not have the 10 dollar

donation limit. I think that's a pretty simple way of helping keep the ships that saved most everyone's bacon back in the day.

Don't have ten bucks?

There ya go. If you make an applicable purchase, a small percentage goes to the foundation. Maybe some art supplies qualify?
