The Tier 7-10 American CVs still lead the pack for lowest Win Rates.  After that these ships are worst:

Takeaways:   Fubuki is a favorite Japanese ship.. and should gain a buff.    The Ognevoi should get a slight buff because the Khabarovsk just got a sizeable nerf.   The Yorck should get a buff because its bottom ship on the totem pole.  Other ships are OK, since they are balanced by the strengths of their line.   WG still needs a buff to high-tier American CVs.  IMO, adding radar consumable to them is the way to go.  It will not be unbalancing since CVs are not on the front line, and it will add to their technological superiority and give them a defensive buff vs DD elimination.

Fubuki, Terrible... Ognevoi 48 freaking shells a minute, got tired of it, sold it last night (needed the credits) ... but the Emerald was by far the worst  (though I do like shootings them)

In what way would this help USN CVs compete with their IJN counterparts?

IT would make them unique, and give a defensive option.  Like I said, it would not flip the scales.  Thats an argument for giving US CVs the ability.  It will make them more attractive and capable with NO chance of unbalancing.

Giving them a random gimmick is not going to make the inherent problems of the line disappear.

How would a radar on a carrier save it from the destroyer that is probably shooting it? How would it assist them in fighting IJN carriers?

the CV balance is precarious.  Too much, and the power will flip.  This is something.  Rather than a 'gimmick', its historical.

The problem is that the USN carriers will not benefit from having a radar consumable; if a destroyer is that close, then the carrier is probably doomed anyway.

I appreciate that you are thinking outside the box, but I don't see how radar will solve any of the problems with that line.

The usn CVS don t need much.  Service times and spotting distance and done.  Beyond that the only real reason is that IJN attract more competitive players and players play differently with and against them.

For example with my Ranger if I showed that I could strafe too early then the other cv would play much more cousously where as with my Hiryu they would still try and take me on. Resulting in much more average plane kills for Hiryu. However damage and kill are basically a wash however Hiryu has 20+% higher survival rate and with that has a much higher win % because of being able to effect the late game. Basically dead = no ability to influence anything.

Khabarovsk is still OP as hell, regardless of the fact that it got nerfed recently.

Its still good, but have you played it?  It turns like a battleship.  Not exaggerating.  This will hurt enormously for my style.  I played it as a torp ship and to suck enemy fire (evasion) while doing spot damage with its HE.  You can blast all day how this is not to play a Khab, nevertheless, the turn nerf... will send me to other lines.

Dunno if radar is the best thing for them.

The majority of DDs are out of the battle pretty early in the match.

You can only pull in so much as it is.

Also it's been said that DD population is decreasing, so that well might dry up all together.

Agreed. The biggest problem is loadout disparity and surface radar would not do anything to address this problem. Air search radar, however, might be useful in combination with revised loadouts.... just a thought.

No offense, but that's not how balance works.

Not surprised to see the Pepsicola and the NO on the list. The one is an easily-citadeled tin can no amount of angling can mitigate, and the other is rusting in my port, awaiting the day a clan team needs a T8 CV escort.

Yeah... Mutsuki... Such a terrible destroyer... Must be why my WR in the T5 is 66%, and in the old T6 version 57%.

Emerald.... WoWS ultimate Xp Piñata

Until someone who knows what they're doing comes along and deletes you with Emerald's torpedo blob.

it's a non-buff and completely useless to them.

It needed it. I've fought enough of them, to know how stupid that thing is. It just miniguns down any DDs that happen to find it's unfortunate way into it's firing range and burns down any other class of ship with a never ending rain of hellfire, while being the fastest tier 10 DD in the game. Look at it's server stats though, even after the nerf it's still king of tier 10 DDs.
