I'm unable to select the new campaign mission. It's 1:40 PM EST on 5/2/17, 10 minutes past the quoted start date; am I missing something?

WG Offices are on the west coast (PST), but test server is in russia.. it's all so confusing sometimes.  hasn't open yet on the test server, wondering if its a Daylight savings time oops.. if so it'll open up about 25 minutes from the time of this post (11:30 am PST)

 

UPDATE: yep I was right. 11:40 my time (US west coast),  just unlocked, have et 'em!

It has opened now but one of the missions is to use HMS Hood???? Does this mean UK BC's are coming?

Task 7 for at least the first 3 tiers of the mission does not display a progress bar.

I noted that ship requirement, HMS Hood, as well.

 

I just picked a different task.

 

What this means for completing the missions and the campaign once live, I do not know.

All right.  So I got the the 3 stars required to open the final task on the first mission and low and behold its complete all tasks.  Pointless other than to get the crates to add to the pin collection.  Where is the HOOD????

It's a premium, geniuses. It's still in testing. You can't use it on the PTS.

I haven't unlocked this yet, but it would be a major bug if it changes after being unlocked.

I notices another thing about these missions, they again failed to address the players who play only CO-OP.  I saw the forums aglow with anger back when you added Science of Victory and Honorable Service.  The CO-OP players will see this as another slap in the face.  I think WG should think these things out fully to include both side PVP and PVE.

 

Overall I like what I am see thus far and love the Collections section with all it's history, well done there.

This is a Campaign.  Access should be available through the objects on the left side of the Port screen.

 

This campaign is in addition to the two permanent campaigns.

well, I do like it...  Things I've noticed.. the containers for the biz camaign are special and look like they just got hoisted out of deep water.  You also collect ships badges with them.. Check those out in your service record under collections.. once you have all the badges you'll unlock what I believe is the "sunk" Bismark skin.. There's also a sunk Hood skin in there as a reward.

 

I sense a theme... and seeing way way way WAY to many movies and shows about Zombies  (tell me these aren't Zombie skins.. come on, go ahead.. I'll believe ya!)

 

Still, cool interesting stuff ya know!... and obviously setups for additional hunt/collection type things in the future.  I like whats been done here...in spite of some folks not ale to figure it all out.. gotta read them mission descriptions better!  It'll be enjoyable as long as you dev and CM types can keep em coming!

 

The art types had some fun for sure!

My final task in the first mission is to use the Hood to sink two enemy cruisers. Does everyone get different tasks in their mission profiles maybe? And if so, how the heck do I get the Hood to complete mine? a little tough, me thinks.

I have eight tasks in my first mission, did you only have three General 67? And I didn't have cause 120000 in damage for the next to the last, I had to get 7,000 exp. What the heck?

You dont need to do all tasks to complete campaign. You need to complete 4 or 5 of them from each missions or you can only do 1 task over and over until you have 9 pins.

Yeah don't think you can repeat missions for pins. Just played thru the first part and wanted to redo a mission and it wouldn't allow me to select it. Also I think you only need 8 pins, not sure because not at home but think that is what I remember.

Yes you can. I have no problem to select for example base XP for the second time. You CANT redo missions when you have all pins and unlocked final task.

Ahh maybe that was it. I don't remember actually having the final task unlocked though. I did have the eight pins I needed but in my head I needed 10. Will check this evening when I play, thanks for the info.
