I think the removal of manual-attack at low-tiers makes people real stupid about it once they figure it out.

Saipan has t9 planes and they come in squadrons of 3 unless you have the +1 AS perk.

He was referring to one of their pilots who accidentally shot up a wing man's flight controls while in formation.

Can confirm.  I've made that exact mistake at least 3 or 4 times when I was new because I didn't know strafe caused friendly fire.
