Absolutely incredible. So much painstaking work goes into the details then they ruin it by plastering rust all over those beautiful ships. Its a crime.

That's your opinion.

 

I actually prefer the rust. It's realistic. A ship without rust in this game looks like it's made of plastic, the rusty textures help to give them more of a 'metallic' feel.

 

But, to each their own.

Have to agree with dseehafer, rust is also in the right places for the most part as well. Like the clean premium camo but even then a tad bit of rust here and there makes it look a bit better (heresy I know!)

Ironically I don't like rust on my ships but have no issue weathering my models

It's beautiful work. One thing I do wish, though, was an option to clean the grime off the bottom of the ship's hull. Several of my ships look nice and slick with expensive paint jobs, but when they're in the premium Drydock port the algae-ridden hull ruins the look. Mainly the Amagi, her red hull is completely obscured by the green gunk.

 

The Mighty Hood has wonderful proportions.
