If you look at the may calender, there is  a battle of crete set of rewards if your are in an american ship, german ship or HMAS Perth.

Wargamming couldnt get this more wrong.

HMS Warspite and Fiji actually fought in the Naval part of this campaign as did the Italian navy. On the ground New Zealand and Australian troops fought alongside the british and greek forces.

This reward program should have been, fight in a british , italian ( obviously currently its the premium ship) and HMAS Perth. The german navy also never fought in this campaign.

Our american friends werent even in the war yet as this was fought in May 1941, why have a US ship as part of the award program, makes no sense whatsoever.

I appreciate such reward programmes as these but please at least align with the forces that actually fought. Is it too late to change Wargamming?

German aircraft of Fkiegerkorps X contributed. But no U-boats were in theatre yet (and according to Wargaming these never influenced naval battles anyway).

There were a few other Australian destroyers of the 'Scrap Iron Flotilla' active at this time, and NZ was operating some sloops (at least HMNZS Auckland).

Crete was a 1941 campaign featuring mostly Crown Colony and Town Cruisers, but especially the Leanders.

The "J, K, L, M" destroyer flotillas - along with plenty of others (Tribals) were also busy.

Warspite was bombed, Barham was damaged ... as was the carrier Formidable.

One of those "Bloody Shambles" situations of fighting with extended logistics, poor intel misunderstood odds.

As it was after Matapan, Italy's naval contribution was minor. It was mostly an air-v-sea campaign.

If Wargaming was commemorating 43's Husky or Salerno, the presence of a few US cruisers would be justified.

As it stands now, it is U571 all over again

And you expect what from the company that stated "Wargaming is passionate about history" as the opening comment in the promo video for their huge advertising splurge to get players at the UK 100th anniversary Battle of Jutland event that they completely ignored ingame apart from a flag with an overpriced bundle of ships that most people already had?
