Secondaries Dispersion Observation

As I have gone up the German BB line, I seem to be noticing that as the secondary range goes up, the dispersion at closer ranges decreases. At 4 km, the Nassau and the Kaiser will land a handful of secondary hits. With the König + secondary range mod, I will get around 15 hits. On the Bayern and Gneisenau, I would be getting around 25 hits and from Bismarck up, I would be getting 50 hits. All of this is without MFCSA.

 

Is this a real effect?

No, all secondaries follow the same dispersion curve.
