damage status during battle

just finished a battle and one of my team was stating ever so often how much damage he has done and I asked about it and he said u could and u could also see if u had bounces etc . where in the settings are these ???

Unless there is a setting in not aware of, this info shows automatically in the top left corner of your display. Dmg, fires, hits, ships sunk, etc.

 

I thought it was a default setting. Could be wrong though. You can also see it above the minimap when you hit (penetrate, shatter, bounce, etc.)

Settings: Alternate Interface.

 

Check the box. Though if you have a slow machine, it will pull on resources a little harder.

I have alt interface set , and I see the ribbons when I hit or incapacitate or whatever , but never do I see a stat like having 80K damage at a given point , being updated as you go . Plenty of resources , not an issue there ..

I got it , dont know what I did  , but in the corner with the ribbons it shows damage during the battle , and at the end if I click the ribbons in the summary , it shows penetration , over penetration and bounce
