Boom. I've found the exact color of the forum's background. Now the words simply disappear.

As I'm feeling generous, I'll share that the hex code for the color is F3F3F3

Nice, right?

Use this wisely....

(P.s, apparently the color of the backgrounds here on the forums varies slightly, with OP's being F3F3F3, the post after the original being EEEDE9, and then going back to the initial color. In this way, it swaps them out with each post.

doh she got us!:teethhappy:

Hehe~

And the best part is, now there could be hidden messages in any of my posts, and only by highlighting or quoting what I wrote will you know if they're there or not. I'm gonna have fun with this~

Sorry, but I can see those, even without highlighting them. It's a bit easy, in fact—which is part of the reason I tried to find the exact background colors on the forums.

Edit: 212 posted, so I have to change the color here. Oops. He sniped my post.

I, too, can see the difference on my Asus, but it's not exactly easy.

I sacrificed color gamut for 144Hz, ULMB and no ghosting and I am happy with this.

You guys enjoy your good color gamut monitors with ghosting :D

According to the inspector, the exact color is slightly different. It's only a 1 number difference, #f3f3f2. The alternating color is #eeedea.

Oh yeah you can read everything from a mobile device since the background is white.

How odd. Mine's reading as being correct, and I can't tell any differences between the background and letters when using it—when I can do so with MrDeaf's slightly off coloring. I wonder if it's a difference in inspectors being used, or computers?

Didn't think about the mobile devices—since the site shows up just the same on my phone.

I used Google Chrome's inspector & read the pixel color information directly. Computers shouldn't affect what the color output is read as, if it did then UX developers would have nightmares. :D

Now, if we could only find the exact color of the background of a quotebox...

Meanwhile, I'm over here with a 60Hz, 1080p TN monitor with 65% sRGB coverage and no shiny features.

Speaking of magic tricks. If there was a school of witchcraft and warships, I wonder what ships would be the house mascots?

Why, isn't it obvious?

Hufflepuff, of course!
