There's this thing WG does, where ships which they feel are underperforming get buffed before release. Notice, if you will, the 'Work in Progress' warning stuck onto the Hood. Her stats may not be indicative of the final product.

If it's remotely good, people will complain about powercreep

If it's remotely bad, people will complain that it's an awful ship that you should never buy

I think she should be released as is. I personally am sick of the Teaboo's [edited]about Hood. I say let it be released and let them be quiet.

Hood has almost nothing going for it in game. Of course it's not going to be very strong. This shouldn't come as a shock to anyone at all.

it was a lucky hit.  Hood was an exceptional ship for her day.

It's a 1920's ship fighting 1940's+ tech...this surprises anyone? Really?

It should be tier 5 tbh.

Huge super structure, massive turning radius, slow rudder, terribly slow turrets, slow shell speed, bad Krupp value for shells,  Slow accel/decell, catches on fire easy, no usefull AA.

Sounds like a "fun" time to me....

This is her first iteration and she'll likely see improvement between now and her next pre-release modification. I plan on buying her regardless, because she's a historical ship. She's quite well armored, and capable of being a good ship, right hands or not. The ironic thing about the Bismarck is that she wasn't exactly a technological marvel in comparison to the Hood. No doubt the Bismarck was a good ship, but her contemporaries such as the Yamato's and North Carolina's were much better

Fun as in...Blackpool fun.

went in the early 2000's, it was...

Well, I have heard it has been under some major restoration and improved a bit.

Still, average temperature is a bit frigid for a beach side resort and like everywhere in England it never stops raining.

Hood will be fine, give WG the time to make her work correctly and she will be a fine addition to the game. Is she going to be Scharnhorst, nope.

yes but her day was the 1920s not the 1940s when she was sunk but yes it was a lucky shot.

Yep, let's put a ship with armor and guns like Warspite along with 32 knots of speed at Tier 5, genius!

Even through the 30's and up into the 40's, she was a very capable capital ship. She had her problems but she's not the hunk of scrap people seem to think.
