Like, I knew Lexington was huge but having reference points for size when I switch between her and for example Colorado, just makes it really clear the scale of size differences.

 

It also sheds a bit of light for why some people picked certain ships for that best/worst-looking thread.  Cuz holy crap the Nikolai is ugly when you can see underneath her.

I was thinking the same thing. Because you actually have reference points available, it's the first port where you can legitimately eyeball the scale of the vessels (rather than having the funky camera zoom in and out, thus defeating the purpose). It's a very, very good port - I may never go non-premium again.

The ARP ship patterns show up pretty good too...  without having to get sunk.

When comparing the US Battleship line, I was amazed at the size difference between the Arizona and the New York/Texas.  Took me a bit by surprise.  They may look similar...
