I didn't do as much as I thought I would. Had two days this week where real life kept me from grinding away the evening. 

But I'm still happy to hit my base goal of 265 earned Coins.

One aspect of these events that I really like is being able to track my week long stats that doesn't require me to run a spread sheet.

Akizuki puts out nearly the same rounds per minute (falls behind by like 8 rounds), but is more accurate and relatively tankier (lol), due to lack of citadel.

Had a final project for my Video Game Music class to do this week, and next week I'll have proper finals + resettling for summer classes, and the typical first-week hecticness for the last one.  Shame, I was hoping to get the 2000 doubloons.

 

Oh well.  Considering that I didn't even want to partake in this until Monday and didn't have a chance to play any Random battles until last night (and a grand total of 26 battles since the event started), 115/300 is pretty good.

That's true but I have more fun in Atlanta than Aki due to the sheer damage output and the dumb-grin on my face when I spot a DD at close range.

Yesterday I charged into the A cap of Hotspot with my Atlanta, Sank a Fletcher and a Yugumo. I died shortly after clearing and capturing the cap but it was fun while it lasted. Atlanta is a bullet hose that isn't great most of the time but when cover and inattention by the enemy team is just right, its a heck of a lot of fun.

I usually go Atlanta and I suggest trolling so I have either a Sims or Belfast smoking for me with Scharnhorst hitting em.

Or go trolling with a Minotaur with Adrenaline Rush. At half health, you can pump out 240 shells / min. Was fortunate to find a stationary GK or Yamato at 5-6km, popped smoke and 200-300 hits in no time

This week, my schedule allowed me to push for 300. Consequently, I only need 245 / week for the Kami R. I find 200 fairly easy to get, 250 is where it really starts to slow down.

I grinded my [edited]of and only got 270 coins (excluding the bonus 10) and didn't even got the 100 coins for being top 100 in any category lol ... this event is nuts for the average joe.

The 100 coins per category for the top 100 players is handed out at the end of the event therefore, it's the top 100 players over the 3 week event, not a weekly reward.
