Hey look! A draw! Haven't had one of those in a while. 

Now, I get what you're thinking. 'But wait River, what does this have to do with the title of this thread? It's just a draw.'

 

Huehuehuehue...No, this is a draw that brought about heartbreak.

Because, looking at the team lists from the after-battle results screen.... 

 

You can see exactly how close a poor Tirpitz captain came to that most hallowed of achievements, the Solo Warrior. 

 

I feel bad for him, I really do. 

To give an idea of just how close the game was, here's the replay.

Time ran out with something like 12 points till 1000 on both sides.

It was tense....I think I'm still sweating from it.

 

 

Yeah. I'm not sure if this post really has any other point besides just sharing this, I guess.

I also have a story of a Tirpitz captain.

He was 1v4 in a tier 10 game. He managed to kill 3 of my allies before he got to me in my half health zao. He was on about 8k.

I typed in chat "You get one shot man, make it count." I went full broadside and waited. Sadly, he missed and I killed him.
