I've collected the most battles played for each ship by a single player (1000+ battles). Because many ships have no players with 1000 battles, they are not included. CVs are not included. If you played more than 1000 games in a CV, you need therapy, not accolades. Some items of note. As you might expect, many players have played St Louis, Minekaze, New Mexico, and Cleveland more than 1000 times. That Minotaur player with 1900 battles is more than 1% of all Minotaur battles ever. Among the German DDs no one has played one 1000 times except for the V-170. More interesting, note that as you go up in tiers, the overall stats performance drops. In Tiers 3-5 there are several players who maintain 60%+ win rates. Clearly in the lower tiers experience confers enormous advantages. That Omaha player with a 59.17% win rate after 6500 games is the ultimate example of this, but there are many similar players From T6 on there are no players with 60%+ average win rates, the closest being the leading Benson player. People who complain about how high tier play sucks can see it documented here: many of the most experienced players in a given ship perform far below average in the higher tiers. For example, there are six Tirpitz players with more than 1000 games who average 26K or less damage (one averages just 18K). I am not sure why win rates drop, probably the experience disparity that enables seal clubbing in the low tiers vanishes in the high tiers, making win rates more even. For Iowa, there are 11 players with more than 1000 games, but only 1 has a 60% plus win rate. For Yammy, 10 players have 1000+ games, but only 2 are above 60%, while 3 are at 45% or less. For Zao, 11 players have 1000+ games, again only 2 are at 60%+, while 3 are below 50%. One Zao player has over 1000 games, averages 94K, but has a 49% win rate. Go figure... Shima is quite striking, around 40 players have 1000+ games but only 1 has 60% win rate, surely one of the great performances on the NA server, given that among his 1000+ peers many have sub-50% win rates. I also wonder if outcomes in the higher tiers are more unpredictable because the ships are glass cannons whose offensive capabilities swamp their defensive abilities. Hence, collapses are far more common, and it is more difficult for an individual player to gain control over the action. On the average, you are less likely to be on the team with the divisions as solo, so your WR will suffer a bit. That means they have to grind the ship, then grind each module one by one. And that takes more a more games as the tier gets higher. same with captain skills.
