yeah but wargaming is a Russian game, they way they'll sell, any non history buff would never know they lost that engagement

Personally, I'd love to see a Russian pre dreadnought. I did all the stuff to earn a Mikasa and didn't even realize it, just noticed a little Battleship in the harbor after a game. I hope if they add a Russian one, it will be just as easy to earn.

Perhaps, though I wish the reward was a Russian premium. Diana, Aurora, Oleg, doesn't matter so long as the ship was there. So I attached the custom Russian Navy flag received from the recent ranked battles on Mikasa. Voila! A Russian pre-dreadnought with a Japanese courtesy flag.

Going by the history of the Imperial Russian Navy, yes: Gangut, Sinop, Chesma. Has the glorious Soviet Navy ever won a major naval battle, much less participated in one? No.

It was awarded for reaching rank 15 in the sixth season of ranked battles. Personally I wish it didn't have the small icon in the centre, but it's a Russian ensign nonetheless. I still want a RU pre-dreadnought though.

This battle showed that it was the big guns on a battleship that mattered. The pre-dreadnoughts were soon replaced.
