I know the Friedrich set Große is the H-39 but what ship is the Großer Kurrfüst?

It is complete WG fantasy but is inspired by real elements (multiple H-proposal iterations and design sketches for triple turrets proposed for sale to the USSR).

I hate how they make up their own designs. I wish it would stay historical.

So you'd prefer the tech trees to have gaps in it?

It's H40B but with the triple turrets the Germans designed for Russia, I guess WG felt that 8 guns wouldn't have been enough for her at tier 10. smart

Yeah there were multiple models of the H Class of Battleship so they could pick one of them and it would easily fit in nicely.

I like H43 and H44 AA defenses but main guns honestly would be a bit much.

I prefer real ships to paper ships as well and I prefer paper ships to completely fictitious ships.  I really think the only time a paper or fictional ship should be in the game is to fill in obvious holes in a tech tree.

I think all WG has said was it was a "preliminary hull for the H-class battleships" but as far as I know they never said which of the H-series designs they were talking about.

Turrets were a design the Germans sold the Russians but never intended to use themselves.
