Multi Ship Captain Builds

Lets say I have all USN cruisers ships up to Des Moines and all USN CA/CL premiums.  With two Captains how would you build the captains to play the most ships?

 

I would want Atlanta to be the primary ship for one captain and Des Moines to be the primary for the other.

 

I have one captain with 18 points and the other with 14 points at the moment.  Currently I am only to New Orleans.

 

I had some mistakes getting to 2 captains with Bismark and Kurfurst and I want to head that off this time.

Thanks for the links.  I have not found that site to be useful due to the small sample size.  I think shipcomrade may develop into a useful resource someday, but for now I don't quite "get it."

Fair enough, and I agree with the small sample size.  But at least it is a step in the right direciton.
