LOL Tier IV-V CVs got their Manual Attacks disabled with the recent, big patch.  If you cannot handle CVs that cannot do manual attacks then stop laying this game.  CV players, rarer as you go up the tiers, become far more proficient players.

 

Have you seen Tier IX-X IJN CVs coming at you with THREE TB units for a max of 12 Torpedo Bombers?

 

Tier VII Kaga is coming and she has lots and lots of bombers...

 

How come you didn't bold the part about how they decreased the drop distance, so if you have 2 IJN CVs, working together, with cross drops against a ship that does 20 kts ..   Of course with 31 whole games in the Wyoming you are, undoubtedly, an expert in it's handling characteristics.

Tier IV seems to be the new stat farming ground for CV players.  I played several Wyoming battles last night and every one had 2 Divisioned CVs on each side.  Wyoming doesn't have a chance against those kind of odds.  Time to put her in mothballs until things settle down.

 

But sure as heck I fire up my full AA spec Texas for some tier V revenge and there isn't a CV in sight all night.  Just a crapload of Tier VI and VII BBs gunning for me (and 5 Dds per side).

 

Lol same thing happens to me 90% of the time I take my Texas out there are no planes even if the last 50 battles I played had carriers in them they vanish, guess it's good to know I protect me teams from carriers just by hittng Battle with my Texas...

I agree, but talking about how they decreased drop distance, and then talking about ijn cross drops implies that the buff applied to ijn as well, but it didn't. USN auto drop is still garbage though. Saw a Langley launch one against a broadside Kaiser and hit 1 of 6. If a bb can still do that, then cruisers and destroyers have nothing to worry about.

Do you want to go back to Manual Drops to Tier IV-V CVs?  I'm fine with that and I can deal with it.  Can you?  Complaining about CV autodrops?  Seriously???

The plenitude of CVs at T4-5 is a pain right now, especially for DDs. Just wait til this bumper crop bumps its way up to T6 and T7 and floods the game with CVs attempting to learn manual torping on the fly.

 

I too am waiting hoping that it will die down. 

 

I would bet that most of the "new" CV players in tier 4 & 5 are just those that never did well with manual drop so can enjoy the class but only in those two tiers again.

Never less than three hits nearly everytime..I just leave the game when it happens as what is the point in staying?  Oh, and I am maxed out for AA defense

 

if you are leaving the game because you took a few torpedo hits, then you are the problem.
