Finally broke 1M XP on my Kami R - please consider a discount

Over the weekend, I finally topped 1,000,000 in ship XP on my Kami R... I realize they are in this for money... but allowing a one time dump of accumulated xp per ship might well, I dunno, make it somehow better? 

 

IOW, I could get 100K free xp dumped over from the Kami R. Yes yes, I know, I can read your negs already... but for some reason seeing it sitting there, doing nothing... 

 

I've spent coins on premiums... most recent the Belfast... so this would be something, well different I think. Players would love it. 

 

Kind of a one-day PAD activity you know? Player Appreciation Day?

Considering how some people have multiple ships with over 1 million exp on them, I would say this is a no-go from WG. Too many people would get massive rewards from this. 

 

I'm nearing 1 million on the Missouri, and have ~600,000 on the Akizuki, with more than a few other ships having anywhere between 100,000 - 500,000. Even if WG allowed you to convert, say 10%, of exp off of a ship for free after reaching some point, many people would end up having several hundred thousand free exp for free. I don't think I need to tell you the potential lost profits from that.

 

The most I could see happening is a "bulk discount" for converting exp amounts over say, 250k. If the player wasn't going to convert that much because of it's cost anyway, then giving a discount wouldn't have any potential lost profits.

 

Maybe an award or something? "Congratulations! You've played a single ship for a really [Edited] long time! Get a life!"

Well if you look at this in the ahem... right light... would it not encourage players to keep playing? Maybe every 100K in XP you get built up on your ship can be converted to 10000 free xp or even 5000 fXp? Perhaps too they could  come up with missions - once you achieve certain goals you can do this type of exchange on one ship of your choosing? 

 

All in the interest of getting people to play more often.

Well... I went to the nearest Circle K, told them Umikami sent me - yea so I stretched the truth a bit - and guess what - they gave me one full year of unlimited slushy access. Fan-tast-eek, eh?

I am 25k from 2 mill on my Minekaze, and I even burned some XP to make Free xp in the past, I am pissed they make the Minekaze so Nerf-ed it is near useless, the Fujin and Both kamikazes are FAR FAR better, it use to be just as good, not sure why they killed it. Ticks me off.  I use to have a million on my Fujin but I used it to get my BigMo,

Honestly, I think they should just do what WoT did and allow players to turn off XP on a ship to boost commander XP gain.
