World of Boats streamers?

Just wondering how many people stream World of Warships. I figure the amount of time I put into video games, I might as well stream. I know a couple of others I like to follow, that are much better players than I and learned a lot from, Flamuu (Awesome in anything lol) and Farazelleth (Awesome CV player) on Twitch. Watching their Vids made me a better player and watching streams on Twitch are a lot better than youtube in some ways because you can ask live questions to get the help you need (Unless they are in a intense battle). Like what mistakes am I making. What can I do to better help my team. I am not the greatest player but know a little bit and if you want some laughs watching me play, I am under the same name as here Sanguedolc3. I gotta give credit to the streamers, it took a long time before I got enough courage up to do the youtube thing, but to have people watch when I play?  I don't have the self confidence or the micro management skills to play, position, chat, reply etc

My recommendation when it comes to streaming... Just jump in and do it. Have fun with it. Quite a few people stream Ships at all different hours. Even if you only get one viewer or get a hundred watching. Most players will be rather helpful or encouraging. You'll get a couple trolls but no big deal. Just give a few people you trust the mighty mod/banhammer.

I mostly stream Hyperdimension Neptunia these days but occasionally take a break and stream ships.

I have streamed before playing Arma 3 but found it too difficult to play well and interact with chat, WOWs is a far slower-paced game so may try it again one day.

Well not everyone has acess to their game. For instance, if your at work, you can watch a stream, but you can't really play because the computer you play on is at home. Also, streams can be fun when you interact and get to know the other people who watch the stream.

I also stream from time to time but it is not on any set schedule. I do, however, actually watch others streaming while playing WOWS since my friends can take a while to choose their next ship once we are back in port and it gives me a constant perspective on others playing. I still learn some "how to" when watching that I can then apply in almost real time. It also helps me understand how certain ships should be handled even if I will never actually own them with all the PVE play my friends and I do.

I watch because I like to improve.  Watching other people play can allow me to see the game from a different perspective, and that can be useful for learning.

There are lots of reasons to watch game streaming.

 

- Learning tricks and tips

- Just watching someone better than you

- You want to enjoy the game but don't have the time/focus/energy to play it yourself

- You don't have a computer that can run it at the moment

- You want to see your friends' reactions to things (why I watch Neptunia streams)

- You don't own the game at all (Why certain people watch me stream Neptunia)

I'd consider it, but I have minor hurdles that I don't want to deal with.

 

• Gotta learn new software for one. Plus, how bad is it on bandwidth? I'm not the sole user of my connection.
• I like playing full screen and don't have a second monitor. How would I keep tabs on and interact with chat?
• Zero schedule, heck there are plenty of times where I afk (not in a battle, of course).
• I think I'm incredibly boring. When soloing I usually stay silent in battles and let my play do the talking for me.

 

Maybe one of these days I'll put up with it and try it.

Your stream is honestly one of my favorites.  You are probably one of the main reasons that my stats are as purple as they are.

yup I stream too. I do it just for fun and . I can look back at my mistake easier then going in to  the replay folder. Some of  the streams I make a full youtube video from. If anyone can  also see my mistakes and hopefully not make the same ones.

I set up a stream because a buddy of mine wanted to watch and see how I was doing things.   Most I ever had online at a time was like 9 but it was mainly just for the one guy who'd asked.  It can be a fun way to play but if you run into a torp or whatever it's far more embarrassing than normal....

You're wasting your time doing plenty of things.  But it's essentially interactive TV shows.  Whether it is background noise for people or something they're intently watching makes no difference as it pretty much substitutes TV.

I like to stream, but I don't have dual monitors so I can't see what's being said which is very disappointing.
