Aircraft Carriers II : Cause 500'000 damage to ships.

Completion Criteria: Carriers of Tier III or Higher

Incoming Tier 3 carriers at some point ?  That would be quite the training bed considering the AA at that Tier.

I'm curiously interested into that.  What if WG was to sell a premium T3 carrier or introduce a grind-line carrier at that tier.

Food for thought !

I'll be amused if it's the Baby Enterprise.

Maybe? 3 plane squads of T3 planes...

DBs and fighters only? Might be neat...

Each squad has only 3 planes as well?

I'd totally add a low-tier carrier to my collection.

Of course with the incoming removal of manual drops below tier 6 it would be harder to play but prevents seal clubbing more effectively.

So... what tier 3 seaplane tenders with seaplane fighters and dive bombers? Dive bombers can work fine without manual drops so this could be fun.

French Foudre, German Karl Meyer, HMS Hermes, USS Curtiss, and... well, take your pick between Mizuho, Chitose, or I-400

For a second there I thought he was issuing a challenge!:teethhappy:

Was going to say, Franco I think your math's off a bit there buddy. I don't think there's any CV that can get 500k DMG delt.:look:

Me likes, have a +1

Notes:

Some of these seaplane tenders only had 4 seaplanes... to have 1 squadron fighters and one for DB, that would mean 2 planes per squad (3 with the captain's skill).

Not a lot to work with, but heh, Tier III so why not.

Both of which had no hangar. Coal-fired lake freighters ftw!

Very unlikely, given floatplane carriers were cut at sometime in the distant past(the game still contains a couple of dummied-out float versions of early CV planes).

USS Macon?

Beat me to mentioning the USN's airship aircraft carriers. Good luck trying to torpedo that pesky destroyers!

Especially with that top speed of 75kts.
