Hello captains, after the new update my Tashkent was reset as a tier9 so i get to set all new perks and captain skills again.  My questions are:

For the 6th upgrade slot, should I choose between lower visibility or faster rudder shift?

For captain skills, I'm running:

1 - preventive maintenance

2 - last stand

3 - demolition expert

4 - deciding between concealment expert and inertia fuse

I know that Russian dds are pure gunboats but it seems to make sense to try to make them a little more stealthy where possible.  All input is welcome.

I've play 5 games so far in my new Tashkent. I'd recommend concealment, and I run Repair Party. It's ma beast. averaged about 90k damage so far in it, cant wait for the Khab.

Hmmm, I no longer bother with CE, you need the gun range more. Use AFT. Your guns should barely get a chance to cool off. Make a pest of yourself, draw fire. CE is not needed.

Depends on playatyle really. You'll want that CE in higher tier matches. Ultimately you'll want CE and AFT though. The Tashkent has excellent range.

AFT isn't that important except for Khab and I won't be sure about that until I try it myself. I think DDs shooting outside of ~12km is overrated. It's much better to get closer and surprise someone, especially since people don't expect stealth spec. Also helps you use your torps better.

If your natural style is to cap & torp, go for CE.

If you natural style is Kiev-esque shoot & run, go with AFT.

Tashkent isn't cut-and-dry like CE for Benson so it is a 50/50 call.

I think this also lead to the demolition expert vs BFT discussion:

I usually take BFT over DE first because BFT can help shooting down scout planes out from BB/cruisers, then if you have CE/BFT, it will make a good capping DD/ranked season DD.

Since you have already gone with DE, I would go for AFT because DE + AFT has the fire + range synergy.

You have DE anyway, go with AFT.
