This is from the line split that we've known about for weeks now and has even been all over the front page of the news section and also about how they're going to handle it and all over the launcher. Only a blind idiot or a simpleton would have not known about this. It was literally plastered all over right in front of your face every time you launched the game up. If you've even logged in 1 time in the last month and a half then it's not WGs fault that you're a a lazy(insert any profanity word here) and too lazy to even read right in front of your face or to take half a second to click a link right in front of your face. My favorite HE spammers (Olan-ovoi and Kiev) were kicked up to tier 10 fodder where I need to painfully grind out the modules - again. Meanwhile I get two ultra-slow turret replacements that require a special effort to keep the guns lined up.. and they are gunships ??? .. The game has changed. I actually liked the Ognevoi at tier 6. ... Ripped off?? 15 point Captain on a worthless Minsk where the skills no longer match up. I already have a Leningrad, so the Minsk got cashed in. Unfortunately, all the Kiev XP was on the elite Minsk - Kiev is zero. 500 Doubs to move captain to the Ognevoi. 300 Doubs to free XP and get usable guns for the Ognevoi. All my credits went into modules so I'm not an embarrassment at tier 8 (including the Minsk 1/2 value). WOWS Doubs/FreeXP/Credits account is not broke, but almost there. Yeah, I know it's only money.. They gave me two 8 point captains that now sit and wait with the extra 10 pointers. Gee thanks, like I needed more low point captains. ... So I have two new (un researched) tier 8 destroyers - one with camo... The Ognevoi actually has slow 10KM torps. Now it's a Sims with better guns. Haven't played with the Kiev much. There's Elite XP, and you can use free XP, or you could just use that Handy Dandy Leningrad to grind it out for free. You also didn't have to pay the doubs to research the upgraded guns. After the patch I had a T6 Gnevny, T7 Minsk, T8 Ognevoi, T8 Kiev. I don't see the issue as I effectively skipped grinding 60K+ exp to get 2 tier 8s and now have two ships to sell potentially. There's Elite XP, and you can use free XP, or you could just use that Handy Dandy Leningrad to grind it out for free. You also didn't have to pay the doubs to research the upgraded guns. Anything over 6 point is too excessive to grind for my 5 game a day lifestyle. And by the way, I don't do very well in the Leningrad. Can't return fire while evading enemy fire.
