Too many people I've been seeing as "burnt out". They racked up a bunch of games, rather quickly, raced up the lines, then realized "ok what now?"  Guys I'm here to tell you, it's ok. It's ok to get burnt out, take some time off and come back at the game with fresh eyes. Hell I go a week or two at times between logging in. Or I do a few games here and there.

There is no rule you have to jam in as many games as possible.  There is also no rule that you can't play other games while playing this one, to rotate the fun. Hell I still routinely play Star Trek Online, Star Wars the Old Republic, For Honor, DC Universe Online(sometimes).

Telling you guys, slow down, chill, whatever you have to do to relax.  Go do something else if ships is becoming that much of a chore.  Don't uninstall, just take a break. You're ALLOWED. Game will still be there if you get that itch.

You think you play old games?  I still play Ford Racing 3 regularly.

It's funny, because WoWs is the way I keep away from writers burnout. So then, the question is, what do I go to when I've burned out in WoWs after burning out while writing? :P

Solid advice though Talon. I certainly follow it.

Ford Racing 3

Seems like I'm an old geezer for games.

Still play Ultima5 every now and then, that came out in 1987.  It's my goto game when I just want to take a break from anything online.

I've been feeling pretty burnt out myself, and generally pretty annoyed with the direction the game has been going in lately.

A break is probably for the best. Time to beat Doom 2 again.

Guess I am an old geezer also. When I get burned out I play Everquest for a LOT more relaxing gameplay.

Dear GOD.... I realized I also still have that game.... o-o

I also realized I still have the original Spyro game.... >.>

As to OP....yeah... might be taking your advice here shortly and play myself some Blackwake. Had it downloaded and ready to play since it came out recently but haven't touched it due to work and other stuff

It's a little bit silly to stick to only one game, and it's even sillier to do that and then not take breaks from it. Variety really is the spice of life, and without it life invariably becomes bland.

Good advice.  Unlikely to be a problem for me - grinding thru the lines, at my skill level.  Every time WG releases a new patch I seem to drop a tier.  It's a race to see if I end up in a nursing home first, or the Erie.

by grinding various lines slowly, I've been avoiding burnout.

I haven't played that for decades.  Hint: never say to your wife - "We just killed a Red Dragon and you brought home light beer?"  Light...hell, those cans were hard!

Hell I still have every game system I had growing up. I love firing up the old sega dreamcast every once in a while. I even love playing my N64 still and playing some Mario Kart with my 6 year old.
