Post 0.6.2 Udaloi Fitting?

I have the Khabarovsk, and now my beloved Udaloi has been switched over to the new "destroyer leader" branch. This branch appears to be all about anti-air and flotilla support?

 

How do I fit the Udaloi now? Is it still the same old gunboat? Is it now an AA platform?

 

I'm looking forward to your ideas on modules, upgrades, and captains skills as now I have to reset, re-research, and re-fit everything...

I would set it up the same as before

 

except you can now pick DFAA instead of engine boost.

udaloi hasn't changed much except its HE does more dmg and you have  DF option.    only downside is that you have to regrind stock hull.

I had the Udaloi "elited" before, and played many games afterwards with everything researched fully. There was approximately 100,000 elite experience, now I have zero. Any idea where that experience went to?

I'm going to be going AA on it, because the Grozovoi is ridiculous, and may as well spec that captain up right. Looking forward to annoying CVs.

God dammit. I had that extra experience hoping it would stay with the Udaloi, to ease the grind to the Grozovoi. Now a wrench was thrown into that plan...

it still plays the same as it did before just now you have DFAA to help will those bombers that are going after you. Keep raining that stalinium fire shells on others and watch the world burn
