People said this ship wasn't going to be very good. They seemed to not understand the implications of 410's at T6....

She's an overmatch monster, and fairly accurate on top of that.

I haven't had many games in her yet.  And no real monster games.  I can say that in my first time taking her out, I torped an Amagi to death, and I can say that she feels very punchy and accurate.  Maybe it's because I'm mainly a cruiser driver and I'm used to being fragile, but her speed and firepower seem to carry her through despite her thin armor, even when uptiered.  She certainly doesn't struggle as much at T8 as a Texas does in T7, for example.

No other premium, ive purchased or earned, has been as amazing.  Im using my Amagi captain in her, secondary specced, so its not even optimal captain skills for the ship

Aye.  She's a fine warship.

This was a memorable game in that I fired 11 salvos, all at 15km or less.  Out of 88 shells, 33 hit, 6 of them cits.  I played her like a cruiser because it was a tier 8 battle and had to avoid lolpen from Amagi and NC.  Quite happy with the ship.

I'm so far liking her, but can't win games in her.

I'm able to make her work for my teams. If you're bottom tier especially, keep in mind she's a little squishy so she's best played very defensively, let somebody else tank while you angle/snipe from mid-long range. If you're top tier, mid-range is fine but stay as angled as you can, and angle even harder between shots. My 63% win rate after ~60 battles and 64.5k average damage shows that a careful and diligent captain can do well with this ship. If you're a bit newer to the game, then you might not find her to be forgiving. You will be punished for every rookie mistake even harder than most other battleships. I think of her as something like a T6 Iowa, except without anti-aircraft. Show your side if you're eager to commit shippuku.

I seem to be doing better with the Mutt now that I figured out that the shells are a whole lot slower then what I was used to before.  Damage seems to be pretty consistent as well, and the torpedoes do work to keep people honest so to speak as well as being a bit of a surprise for ships that decide that they want to brawl.  Decent speed, but seems to be pretty sluggish at the rudder and loses a pretty good bit of speed in a hard turn.  All in all I  think she's pretty decent.

I really enjoy Mutsu. As an added bonus, my game in Nagato has improved exponentially since I got her sister.
